Richard Yammouni

 

Rick is an Australian Army Officer and current acting Officer Commanding at the Australian Army’s Defensive Cyber Squadron.

 

He holds a Batchelor of Business, Masters of Project Management, Masters of Systems Engineering and is certified within a range of commercial IT products from vendors such as Microsoft, Cisco and VMware.

 

Over the last 20 years he has held positions within Private and Public companies as a Project Manager, Systems Integrator, Business Development Executive, Information Security Architect and IT Systems Architect .

 

During his time within Defence, Rick has served within the Special Air Service Regiment, 7^th Signals Regiment and at the Defence Force School of Signals.

 

He has had broad experience commanding tactical and operation teams both at home and abroad and within Defence Cyber has supported operations as a Cyber Mission Commander, Liaison Officer, Operations Officer and International exercise designer.

 

Most recently, Rick has supported USCYBERCOM future warfighting initiatives as well as Joint and Interagency planning courses.
